COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The Cambridge Science Festival is a family-friendly expo with more than 100 ways to explore, build, learn and—most importantly—have fun!
At the annual Science Carnival and Robot Zoo each April, MIT Sea Grant hosts exhibits, tanks, and robotic fish pools. With our ocean engineers, kids and adults alike drive our Sea Perch underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROV) and test their piloting skills maneuvering a miniature marine surface vehicle around obstacles in a pool.
Our Marine Advisory Services team brings live touch tanks with Massachusetts crabs, snails and seaweed to explore our local estuaries with citizen scientists of all ages.
