The MIT Arcturus Team traveled to Sarasota, FL March 22-28 with MIT Sea Grant Education Administrator Andrew Bennett for the 16th Annual RoboBoat Competition. RoboBoat is an international competition in which teams build and program autonomous boats to navigate challenges. This year, 23 teams competed from Canada, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Israel, Poland, Puerto Rico, Turkey, and the US.

The MIT team won the Technology Award and 1st Place for Documentation, Video, and Website!

Team Arcturus is now preparing to participate in Njord Challenge – The Autonomous Ship Challenge in Norway this August.
