MIT Sea Grant provides competitive funding opportunities through our Core Request For Proposals (RFP) for Massachusetts research scientists who seek to address marine issues in ways that benefit the Commonwealth.

We will hold an Informational Open House for our FY2024 Core RFP on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 10 am – 12 pm to review topics and provide guidance for interested applicants. Please RSVP here to attend in-person or virtually.

MIT Sea Grant has increased our Core RFP funding this year, welcoming proposals up to $170,000 annually, for a total of $340,000 over a two-year period. A 50% non-federal match will be required. The full FY2024-2026 RFP is available here.
