Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries Announces Recent Changes in Shellfish Closure Areas

The Division of Marine Fisheries has determined that bivalve shellfish from Salt Pond in the Town of Eastham no longer contains biotoxins from phytoplankton in excess of established standards. Therefore, they have rescinded the DSP closure for bivalve shellfish issued on July 15, 2015 effective sunrise on August 21, 2015 for the Salt Pond area. Visit www.mass.gov for more details
