Nantucket Sound Circulation: Observations, Analysis, and Model Development

In this project, the researchers are developing models and conducting field studies to better understand the circulation and water properties of Nantucket Sound. In particular, the work aims to shed light on processes governing the coastal food web and seasonal plankton cycles to assess the likely effects of future long-term warming scenarios on near-shore plankton.
