Danny Badger
Marine Extension Specialist — Aquaculture
Danny Badger is the Marine Extension Specialist with the MIT Sea Grant College Program, focusing on aquaculture. Prior to joining MIT, Danny spent more than a decade leveraging research experience in population dynamics to develop marine science education programming at the New England Aquarium. Here, he worked in animal husbandry and exhibit engagement, combining scientific rigor with stakeholder values to inspire productive conversations and environmental solutions. Currently serving on the Impact & Evaluation Committee of the National Network for Climate Change Interpretation (NNOCCI), and Chair of the sustainability networking group Boston Green Drinks, Danny’s primary interests lie in making progress towards informed, sustainable, and resilient communities.
