The MIT Sea Grant Program is operating Boston's first marine finfish hatchery at the former Charlestown Navy Yard. The goal is to demonstrate pilot-scale techniques for producing new varieties of marine finfish fingerlings. This project report is in three parts, one covering the design and installation of culture systems in the hatchery facility, a second part covering efforts in the cryopreservation of haddock eggs, and a final brief section of fish tagging.
