Over the last decade, significant advances in understanding the role of nonlinear dynamics in offshore systems have taken place. This report is a compilation of synopses of presentations given at a workshop on "Offshore Station Keeping with Introduction to Nonlinear Dynamics". Optional viewgraphs used by speakers may be ordered. Topics discussed included, among others, basic review of and introduction to nonlinear dynamics for offshore systems, single and two-point mooring systems and fully nonlinear computations of ship motions and effect of second-order forces on moored vessel dynamics.
