Citizen's Guide to Sources of Marine and Coastal Information in Massachusetts

Madeleine Hall-Arber, Karen Hartley
204 pp.
MITSG 90-03

This fifth, updated edition represents the culmination of several months of compilation and revison; in it you'll find more than 170 organizations that are as varied as the many aspects of ocean research and coastal issues they cover. They all, however, are bound by the common thread of expertise in some marine-related field and a willingness to share it with the public. Several organizations outside of Massachusetts are included because of their unique resources. Organizations are listed alphabetically and indexed in the back by selected specialties. Entries include organization addresses, phone numbers, hours of operation, objectives, specialties, services, education materials, fees, newsletters, and contact names.
