The aim of this thesis is to design, develop and implement a digital holographic imaging (DHI) system capable of capturing three-dimensional (3D0 images of aquatic species. The images produced by this system are used in a non-intrusive manner to characterize the abundance, morphology and 3D location of the aquatic species.
