MIT Sea Grant's 2008 Calendar offers both intimate and spectacular photographs, from oyster shells in morning light, to a working dinghy, a great blue heron, and a skiff beached in a tidal marsh.
We've partnered again this year with award-winning visual artist and writer Emily Hiestand. Her photographs reflect how one Massachusetts dweller pays attention to, preserves, and shares the richness of our marine and coastal heritage.

The calendar also serves as a small portal to our work at MIT Sea Grant, highlighting fisheries research, the latest AUV advances, eelgrass restoration, and much more.
