2013 Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship Applications Due February 17, 2012

The 2013 National Sea Grant College Program Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship competition is now open.

The Knauss fellowship provides a unique educational experience to students who have an interest in ocean and coastal resources, and in the national policy decisions affecting those resources. The program matches highly qualified graduate students with "hosts" in the legislative and executive branches of government located in the Washington, D.C. area for a one-year, paid fellowship.

The Knauss is open to any student, regardless of citizenship, who, on February 17, 2012, is in a graduate or professional program in a marine or aquatic-related field at a United States-accredited institution of higher education. Applications are submitted to the state Sea Grant where the student resides. For Massachusetts, apply through either the MIT or Woods Hole Sea Grant Programs.

For submission through MIT Sea Grant, please direct inquiries to Kathy de Zengotita, kdez@mit.edu, 617-253-7042.
