John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship
The Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship provides a unique educational experience to graduate students interested in ocean, coastal and Great Lakes resources and in the national policy decisions affecting those resources. The program, which is sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Sea Grant College Program, matches highly qualified graduate students with "hosts" in the legislative branch, executive branch, or appropriate associations/ institutions in the Washington, D.C. area for a one year paid fellowship.

Dean A. Horn Award
An award of $1000 and a certificate are presented yearly to selected undergraduate students with the most deserving marine-related projects.

Grants for Education in Marine Science
The Grants for Education in Marine Science (GEMS) program is funded by MIT Sea Grant. Funds offered through this competitive program are aimed at providing supplemental financial resources to Massachusetts students and educators interested in marine science by promoting new, collaborative approaches to education beyond textbooks.
