---The mission of the MIT Sea Grant College Program's finfish hatchery facility, located at the Marine Heritage Center in Gloucester, MA, is to conduct research on commercially viable marine finfish species, system development and demonstration, and educational programs aimed at industry and the general public.
We are seeking motivated, responsible individuals with interest and some experience in fish culture or marine biology for semester-long internships throughout the year. Two to three applicants will be selected per term.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to learn about the growing field of recirculating aquaculture and become involved in our current research program in marine finfish aquaculture. The minimum commitment for interns is 100 hours throughout the semester, or 10 hours a week for 10 weeks. This is a non-paid internship.

- - Previous experience in fish culture or marine biology
- - Your specific interests in aquaculture
- - Tentative schedule of availability
- Current resume including three academic, student leadership or professional references and contact information; and
- A letter of reference/support from a current faculty member who is familiar with your internship-related interests.
