Dear Participants,

Thank you for a most productive meeting in Houston's Chevron offices on January 11, 2007. We believe it became very clear that VIV is a challenge and that all participants agree there is a great opportunity to achieve major progress through well-planned and coordinated work, supported by RPSEA and matching funds.

The consensus document is posted now on the web, entitled "RPSEA Annual plan v2.doc". We ask that you send your comments on the document to Michael Triantafyllou (mistetri@mit.edu) and Owen Oakley (ohoakley@chevron.com). In order to achieve our goal of submiting a short white paper by January 20, 2007 (this Friday) we ask that you send your comments by January 20, 2:00 PM EST.
