Hubert Murray's work as Manager of Sustainable Initiatives for Partners HealthCare Inc. encompasses the built environment, energy, water, waste, transportation, and purchasing. He was sustainability advisor to the design team for the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in the Charlestown Navy Yard and is working on longer-term resilience of Partners' hospitals in response to climate change. Hubert Murray was educated in England and has practiced in the United States since 1986.

Jack Wiggin is the director of the Urban Harbors Institute at the University of Massachusetts Boston. He has 32 years of experience in government, the private sector, and academia developing and implementing coastal and marine policy, planning and management strategies at the national, state, and local levels of government in the US and abroad. He is an adjunct faculty member in the School for the Environment teaching courses on urban planning and land use law, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
