The Fifth International Marine Bioinvasions Conference was examined marine bioinvasion vectors, patterns, distribution, ecological and evolutionary consequences, economic impacts, biosecurity approaches, and natural and invasion impacts on biodiversity.
This symposium brought together the scientific, regulatory, and fishing communities to share lessons learned from the 2005 Alexandrium bloom.
MIT Sea Grant and the Northeast Fisheries Science Center hosted this forum on the use of ocean mapping to support fisheries management and research.
